Shannon Murray

Shannon Murray has extensive experience in administrative support roles across various educational institutions. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer at Carnegie Mellon University since May 2018, Shannon contributes to the management of the university's diversified financial portfolio. Previously, Shannon held the position of Executive Assistant to the Vice President at Georgia Gwinnett College, where responsibilities included supporting development, public relations, and marketing efforts. Additionally, Shannon served as Department Administrator and Program Administrator at the University of Pittsburgh, overseeing academic and fiscal matters within the Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science department. Earlier experience includes a role as Expansion Coordinator for Alpha Kappa Psi and a sales support position at ColdCypress. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Health Services Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.
