Sheika Lugtu

Sheika Lugtu is an experienced professional in the field of art education and admissions, currently serving as the Director of Undergraduate Admission and Enrollment at Carnegie Mellon University since March 2021. Prior to this role, Sheika held various positions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from June 2014 to January 2021, including Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions for the Midwest and Continuing Studies Instructor in Comics, Graphic Novels, and Illustration. Sheika also worked as a Teaching Artist at Lillstreet Art Center. Educationally, Sheika obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual and Critical Studies and Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2013 to 2017, following an Associate of Arts degree from Long Beach City College from 2010 to 2013.
