Zico Kolter

Zico Kolter is a distinguished academic and industry leader in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Professor and Director of the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University, Zico Kolter has held multiple tenured faculty positions, including Associate Professor. Prior to this, Zico Kolter contributed to Bosch USA as Chief Expert and held the roles of VP and Chief Scientist of AI Research. Additionally, Zico Kolter served as Chief Technical Advisor at Gray Swan AI and Chief Data Scientist at C3.ai. Zico Kolter began an academic career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Science from Georgetown University.
