Marie-Stephanie Delamaire

Curator Of European And American Art at Carnegie Museum of Art

Marie-Stephanie Delamaire is currently serving as the Curator of European and American Art at the Carnegie Museum of Art since September 2022, while also holding the position of Affiliated Assistant Professor in the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture at the University of Delaware since September 2016. Prior roles include Curator of Fine Art and Associate Curator of Fine Arts at the Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library from July 2015 to November 2022, and an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at Rare Book School from June 2014 to October 2016. Additionally, Marie-Stephanie worked as a Core Lecturer at Columbia University from August 2013 to June 2015, and as an NEH Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Library Company of Philadelphia in 2013. Academic contributions include roles as an Instructor and CV Starr Finishing Dissertation Fellow at Columbia University and a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Terra Foundation for American Art. Marie-Stephanie holds a Ph.D. in Art History and an MPhil from Columbia University, along with an MA in Egyptian Archaeology from Ecole Du Louvre, Paris.
