Shawn Watrous

Shawn Watrous is an experienced artist and educator currently serving as Associate Preparator at the Carnegie Museum of Art since August 2016 and as an artist at Shawn Watrous Studio since August 2014. Watrous has held positions as an Adjunct Professor at Penn State New Kensington from August 2014 to May 2016 and at Kent State University from September 2013 to May 2014. Additionally, Watrous worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kent State University from September 2011 to May 2013 and as a Scenic Painter for Local 489 I.A.T.S.E. from September 2008 to May 2011. Watrous holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from San Francisco Art Institute.
