Grace M Alba

Grace M Alba is an experienced educator and interpreter with a strong background in natural history and scientific instruction. Since March 2016, Alba has been serving as a Natural History Interpreter and Docent at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, where the focus is on teaching and promoting appreciation for natural history artifacts. Previous roles include positions at the University of Pittsburgh, where Alba contributed as an Interim Program Assistant and as an instructional faculty member in Biological Sciences and First-Year Student Programs. Additional experience includes curriculum development and instruction in various educational settings, from community spaces to libraries, highlighting a commitment to interdisciplinary teaching and experiential learning. Grace M Alba holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Wellesley College, multiple advanced degrees in science-related fields, and extensive teaching experience that spans over two decades.
