Liz Dewar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and digital services within cultural institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Technology and Digital Services at the Senator John Heinz History Center since July 2020, Liz previously held multiple roles at the Royal Academy of Arts, including Technology Program Lead and Digitisation Coordinator, from January 2015 to July 2020. Earlier experience includes positions as a Photography Tutor at Greenwich Community College and Digitisation Officer at the National Portrait Gallery. Liz's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Digital Asset and Media Management from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh, complemented by studies at Pittsburgh Filmmakers.
