Jo Yantz, PP, CLP has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Jo is currently working as a Trusts Probate and Estate Administration Paralegal at Carney Badley Spellman, P.S. since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Betts Patterson & Mines, P.S. from September 2011 to March 2023, where they specialized in Business Transactions, Estate Planning, and Probate. Before that, they worked at The Meyer Law Firm from June 2000 to August 2011, focusing on Estate Planning and Probate. Additionally, they have experience as a Business Paralegal at the Law Offices of Thomas L. Dickson from March 1999 to June 2000, and as an Elder Law Paralegal at the Law Offices of Preston L. Johnson from September 1996 to March 1999. Jo Yantz has a comprehensive education history that spans multiple fields and institutions. They started their academic journey in 1983 at Peninsula College, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science/Programming. They successfully completed their AS and Technicians Degree at Peninsula College in 1985.

In 1989, Jo continued their education at Central Washington University, focusing on Political Science/Pre Law. They obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Central Washington University in 1992.

Nearing the end of the 1990s, Jo pursued a different field of study at Highline College. From 1995 to 1997, they engaged in Paralegal Studies, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree.

Aside from their formal education, Jo Yantz has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2009, they became a Notary Public with Electronic and Remote Notary Endorsements, accredited by the State of Washington. Additionally, they acquired the Professional Paralegal (PP) certification from NALS in September 2020, and the Certified Legal Professional (CLP) designation from NALS in September 2018.
