Maria Gustaferro

Maria Gustaferro is an experienced educator and counselor with a diverse background in academic and community settings. Currently serving as a Placement Counselor at Carney, Sandoe & Associates since August 2023, Maria previously worked at Brookwood School from August 2019 to August 2023 as a Spanish Teacher, Grade 7 Advisor, and Coach. Notable roles include Group Leader and Program Director at LITA, LLC from June 2022 to July 2023, and various positions at the City of Gloucester from June 2015 to August 2022, including Lifeguard and Head Lifeguard. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Lesley University. Maria has also gained valuable experience as an English-Spanish Translator in the Amherst-Pelham School District and as a Teaching Apprentice at Brookwood School.
