Daniele Carbonera

Daniele Carbonera is an experienced professional in the maritime and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Director of Reliability and Performance at Carnival Corporation since February 2015. In this role, Daniele acts as a key reference point for technical directors across multiple brands, focusing on energy-saving upgrades and maintenance regimes for the corporation's vessels. Prior to this position, Daniele held the role of Senior Manager of Diesel Plants, leading corporate policy development and overseeing significant fleet-wide projects related to the maintenance and upgrading of a large fleet of diesel engines. Daniele's previous experience at Wärtsilä includes roles such as Operation Coordinator and Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed project management for fuel-saving operations and customer account management. Daniele holds a Master's degree in Material Engineering from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
