Marcello Grosso

Marcello Grosso has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as Vice President for Fleet Technical Operations at Carnival Maritime GmbH since May 2015, overseeing the technical compliance and safety of the Costa Group Fleet. Prior to this role, Marcello held various positions at Costa Crociere S.p.A. from March 1992 to April 2015, including Senior Director and Director of Fleet Technical Operations, as well as Fleet Manager. Early in the career, Marcello worked with the Italian Coast Guard as Chief Engineer and served at the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia as an Engine Cadet. Marcello's education was completed at the Nautical Institute Leon Pancaldo Savona from 1982 to 1987.
