Edmundo Jimenez

Edmundo Jimenez has extensive experience in executive leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Edmundo began their career at Eli Lilly de Mexico in 2002, serving as the Business Unit Director for Primary Care Products until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they were the Sales Force Effectiveness Director for the Intercontinental Region, responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies across 60 countries. Edmundo then transitioned into a role as the Director of Global Compliance Solutions, overseeing compliance needs and policy implementation for international affiliates. In 2009, Jimenez became the General Manager at Eli Lilly de Mexico, where they were responsible for overall sales and performance, as well as representing the company to external stakeholders. From 2013 to 2014, they served as the Area Managing Director for the Andean, Central America, Caribbean, and Southern Cone regions. Following this, they assumed the position of Chief Marketing Officer and Commercial Operations Southern Cone, Central America, Caribbean & Mexico, accountable for regional marketing, sales, and commercial strategy. Most recently, Jimenez is the CEO & Managing Director at Carnot Laboratorios, a role they assumed in 2019. Through their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.

Edmundo Jimenez pursued their education in a systematic and progressive manner. Edmundo completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they attended the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México for a period of two years, from 1993 to 1995, where they concentrated on Marketing studies. These educational experiences provided him with a solid foundation in Chemical Engineering and equipped him with valuable knowledge in the field of Marketing. Additionally, in October of 2018, Edmundo obtained a certification in "Giving Your Elevator Pitch" from LinkedIn, enhancing their skills in communication and presenting.
