Elizabeth Looby

Elizabeth Looby has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the arts and dance industry. Elizabeth is currently working as a Digital Media Manager at Carol Fox and Associates, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Forward Momentum Chicago, initially as an Administrative Assistant from August 2019 to January 2021, and then as a Communications Coordinator from January 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Forward Momentum Chicago, Elizabeth worked at Washington National Opera as an Operations Assistant and later as an Artistic Operations Coordinator from April 2018 to June 2019. Elizabeth also gained experience at Bowen McCauley Dance Company as an Outreach Coordinator and Teaching Artist from September 2017 to March 2019.

In 2017, Elizabeth had a multifaceted role at Dance Place as an Arts Administration Intern. Elizabeth also served as the Studio Manager, Rental Manager Assistant, and Box Office Manager during their time there.

Elizabeth's early career included teaching dance at Factory Street Studio from September 2016 to May 2017 and serving as the School of Dance Office Assistant at Ohio University from February 2014 to April 2017. At Ohio University, they also worked as a Dance Teacher and was involved in student recruitment initiatives. Elizabeth began their career as a Dance Teacher and Assistant at Straub Dance Center from September 2008 to August 2016.

Elizabeth Looby attended Westerville Central High School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a diploma. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2017, they attended and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, focusing on Dance Performance and Choreography.
