Emily Commander (Rexrode)

Emily Commander (Rexrode) is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently serving at Carol Woods Retirement Community since June 2023 and at LHC Group since June 2021. Prior roles include working as an Occupational Therapist at Brookdale from April 2014 to June 2020 and completing a fieldwork internship at Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools in late 2013, where services were provided to students with diverse developmental and physical disabilities. Earlier experience includes a position as Activities Coordinator at YMCA in 2010. Emily holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grove City College.
