Adam Schiffer

Director, Development at Carolina Ballet

Adam Schiffer is a ballet dancer, choreographer, and guest artist who has worked with numerous ballet companies and ballet schools. Adam is currently the Director of Development at Carolina Ballet.

Adam began their ballet training at the age of 14 at the Vienna State Opera. Adam later danced with the Slovakian National Opera before joining the Columbia Classical Ballet in 2007. In 2008, they joined the Carolina Ballet, where they served as Development Manager until June 2019.

Adam has been teaching ballet since December 2008 and has been a guest artist with various ballet companies and schools. In June 2019, they joined the Carolina Ballet as Director of Development.

Adam Schiffer graduated from the Hungarian Dance Academy with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

They are on a team with Margaret Severin-Hansen - Director, Summer Intensive, Jim Casey - Director, Sales, and Matthew Strampe - Director, Production Manager & Technical. and Marjorie Terry - Senior Development Associate reports to Adam Schiffer. Their manager is Michele Weathers, Executive Director.
