Margaret Severin-Hansen

Director, Summer Intensive at Carolina Ballet

Margaret Severin-Hansen is a professional ballet dancer who has danced with some of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world, including The Royal Ballet of Flanders, Carolina Ballet, and Koninklijke ballet van vlaanderen. Margaret is currently the Director of Summer Intensive at Carolina Ballet.

Margaret began their ballet training at the age of four at Ballet Hawaii. Margaret later attended the Carolina Youth Ballet on scholarship. In 2009, they were a guest dancer with ballet chicago. The following year, they joined Carolina Ballet as a first soloist.

In 2013, Margaret joined The Royal Ballet of Flanders as a first soloist. Margaret danced with the company for six months before moving to Koninklijke ballet van vlaanderen, where they danced for another six months. After returning to Carolina Ballet, Margaret became the Director of Summer Intensive.

Margaret Severin-Hansen's educational career includes attending the School of American Ballet.
