HAL Clinical Project Manager at Carolina BioOnocology Institute

Camila Vedia has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. Camila began their career as a Medical Scribe for ProScribe in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Home Health Aide for Carefree Home Health & Companions and as a Summer Intern for Quirónsalud, where they shadowed nurses, doctors, surgeons, and other staff in health management, assisted in surgeries under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, worked under many respected doctors in consultations, and performed vitals and electrocardiograms on patients, as well as translating between Spanish and English. In 2020, they worked as a Patient Registry Lead for Consortium of Independent Immunology Clinics (CIIC) and as a Clinical Research Coordinator for Allergy Asthma & Immunology Relief, P.A. Camila currently works as a HAL Research Coordinator and EDC Development Specialist and a HAL Research Coordinator and Lab Specialist for Carolina BioOncology Institute.

Camila Vedia has an education history that includes a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from Colorado State University (2023-2024), a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from James Madison University (2016-2020), and a School of Practical Nursing from Osbourn Park High School (2015-2016). Camila has also obtained two certifications: a Certified Medical Scribe Apprentice from The American College of Medical Scribe Specialists in June 2018, and an MSCAT Assessment from The American College of Medical Scribe Specialists in June 2018.
