Leah Leska

Leah Leska is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare. Leah has worked with Carolina Caring since April 2020 and previously with Appalachian Regional Healthcare System and Appalachian Gastroenterology, P.A., both from March 2018 to April 2020. Prior experience includes working at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care and Appalachian Gastroenterology, P.A., from March 2017 to April 2020 and March 2016 to March 2017, respectively. Leah's earlier career includes tenure at WakeMed in the pediatric and neonatology departments from September 2007 to March 2016. Academically, Leah holds a Post Master's Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke University, an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from East Carolina University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
