Sandra Mears

Sandra Mears is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in nursing and case management. Currently serving as a Senior Case Manager at Carolina Case Management since October 2011, Sandra has previously held positions at BCBSNC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina as an Occupational Case Manager from August 2004 to October 2011. Prior to that, Sandra worked as a Staff Registered Nurse at Chapel Hill Internal Medicine and Wake Forest Baptist Health, specializing in hematology and oncology. Sandra holds a BSN degree in Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing from East Carolina University, where studies were completed from 1978 to 1982.
