Jane Jacobs

Jane Jacobs is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th and 6th Grade Math Teacher at Carolina Charter Academy Inc since August 2019, where responsibilities include teaching middle school students. Prior to this role, Jane worked as an Instructional Coach for the Wake County Public School System from December 2011 to August 2019, focusing on curriculum organization and policy discussions. Jane also served as a 5th Grade Teacher within the same school system from July 2005 to July 2011, and as a Year 2 Teacher for Lincolnshire County Council from September 2003 to July 2005. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from University College Northampton, completed in 2003, and attended Bourne Grammar School from 1992 to 1999.
