Maintenance Manager at Carolina Foods, Inc.

Bob York began their career in 1983 as a Maintenance Tech for Lance. Bob then moved to Lance Charlotte NC in 1989 as a Maintenance Supervisor. In 1993, they were appointed Maintenance Manager for Lance Columbia SC, where they instituted all Maintenance policies and procedures. In 1995, they took on the role of Maintenance Manager for Lance Burlington Ia. From 1997 to 2013, they worked as Production Manager for Lance, overseeing Sandwich Cracker production for 4 out of 7 lines of 3 shifts of Operation and 340 Team Members. During this time, they developed TPM based Autonomous Maintenance Teams and Procedures. In 2013, they joined Carolina Foods, Inc. as Maintenance Manager, leading the Maintenance Department with 21 Maintenance team members, 4 Supervisors, 1 Planners/Schedulers and 1 Parts Purchaser. Bob was also responsible for the Maintenance of 6 production lines of equipment, building facilities and utilities. Bob developed and implemented RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) based daily Maintenance planning and scheduling. In the same year, they also joined Harber Valve as Area Sales Manager.

Bob York completed their High School Diploma at Olympic High School from 1980 to 1983. Bob then attended Central Piedmont Community College to study Welding Technology/Welder.
