David Chottiner

David Chottiner is an experienced educator currently serving as the Middle School Head Teacher at Carolina Friends School since July 2022. Prior to this role, David was the Middle School Director at Old Trail School from July 2014 to July 2022. Additional experience includes serving as the Academy Director of Programs and Teacher at Shady Side Academy from August 2002 to June 2014, and as the Program Director at Camp White Pine from June 2002 to August 2008. David holds a Certification in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University (2011), a Master’s degree in Social and Comparative Analysis of Education from the University of Pittsburgh (2010), and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and American Culture Studies from Washington University in St. Louis (2002).
