Koko Sasamoto

Koko Sasamoto is an experienced patternmaker currently working at Carolina Herrera since July 2022. Previously, Koko held the position of Women's Collection Patternmaker at Calvin Klein from January 2011 to August 2019, collaborating with renowned creative directors Raf Simons and Francisco Costa, focusing on creating garments for runway shows and high-profile clients. Koko also served as Lead Pattern Maker for Yumi Katsura Bridal Inc from April 2005 to July 2010, where responsibilities included crafting Haute Couture wedding dresses and coordinating first patterns. Early career experiences include roles at Agnes b. as a Trainee Pattern Maker, Emanuel Ungaro as a Trainee Patternmaker/Seamstress, and Lamber as a Pattern Maker. Koko's educational background includes a degree in Fashion Design from Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and a B.A. in Fashion from Japan Women's University, supplemented by a Diploma in Pattern Making and Sewing from Vantan Career School.
