John Loomis

John Loomis is an experienced broadcast and production professional currently serving as the Broadcast Director for the Town of Cary since October 2023, overseeing live streams and event broadcasts. Simultaneously, John contributes to the Carolina Hurricanes as a CanesVision Crew Member, and to the North Carolina Courage and Durham Bulls Baseball Club in various capacities related to in-house production and gameday operations. Additional roles at North Carolina State University include Athletics Production Assistant and Wolfbytes Broadcast Lead, where John manages graphics and audio for collegiate events. Previous experience includes leadership in broadcast and creative content for the Clayton Clovers, marketing and production support for the NC State Global Training Initiative, and internships in graphics direction and multimedia production. John holds dual degrees from North Carolina State University in Communication Media and Meteorology.
