Alea Satterwhite

Alea Satterwhite is currently serving as an Underwriter at Carolina Small Business Development Fund since March 2023. Prior to this role, Alea worked at SECU from March 2018 to May 2023 as a Financial Service Officer III, where responsibilities included approving and denying loan applications, educating members on services, analyzing financial reports, investigating fraudulent transactions, and processing wire transactions. In addition to these tasks, Alea trained new employees and acted as a liaison between internal departments. Alea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from North Carolina Central University.
