Derek Staton

Derek Staton currently serves as President of Carolina Transportation Engineers and Associates, PC, a position held since August 2016. Prior to this role, Derek was Vice President at TranSystems from July 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities included National Bridge Lead and Client Manager for North and South Carolina. Derek's earlier experience includes a tenure as Vice President at HDR Engineering Inc. from October 1995 to July 2014, managing bridge projects in the Carolinas. Derek holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
