Mark Meszaros, PhD has a diverse work experience history. Mark started their career at Amoco Chemical in 1985, where they held the position of Manager, Technical Programs until 1994. At Amoco, they managed plastic recycling feasibility projects and was selected as a spokesperson for the American Plastics Council.

From 1994 to 2006, Mark worked at Flinn Scientific as the VP, Technical Services. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the company's growth as a market leader in chemistry science education. Their responsibilities included new product development, marketing, technical support, and strategic development. Mark successfully developed over 1000 new products for the education market.

In 2005, Mark joined Marmion Abbey/Academy as an AP Chemistry Instructor. Mark taught chemistry until 2007 when they moved on to VWR Science Education as Vice President. At VWR, they managed new product development, three manufacturing groups, and the chemistry brand. Mark also started a new professional development business and implemented a new product development process.

Since 2010, Mark has been working at Carolina Biological Supply Company as the Vice President, Core Product Management and Innovation. Their role involves managing product mix and selection, P&L responsibility, marketing and sales support, and operations support. Mark also focuses on product development and building strategic partnerships for new product lines. Mark's work at Carolina Biological involves developing solutions using NGSS for remote and distance learning.

Mark Meszaros, PhD has a strong educational background in business and chemistry. Mark obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Creighton University from 1976 to 1980. Mark then pursued a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1985. Continuing their academic journey, Mark pursued an MBA with a focus on Marketing and International Business at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1987 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Mark has also obtained certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In January 2022, they completed the "Choosing Leadership Mini-Course" offered by The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Furthermore, in February 2017, they obtained certifications for completing the course "Managing the Company of the Future" from Coursera Course Certificates.
