Daniel Reichenbach M.D. has been the Chief of the Department of Surgery at CarolinaEast Health System since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Surgeon at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital from December 2015 to March 2019. From April 2008 to November 2015, they served as the Vice Chief of the Department of Surgery at Sentara Albemarle Hospital.

Dr. Daniel Reichenbach's education history is as follows:

Dr. Reichenbach attended the University of Michigan from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General.

Daniel then went on to study at The Ohio State University College of Medicine from 1995 to 1999, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Following that, Dr. Reichenbach completed the General Surgery Residency Program at New Hanover Regional Medical Center from 1999 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2005, they pursued further fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Reichenbach obtained board certification from the American Board of Surgery in February 2005. Daniel also became a licensed physician by the North Carolina Medical Board in 2018.
