Cathy Thorsell

Cathy Thorsell, MBA, CMPE, serves as the Vice President of Operations for CaroMont Medical Group, leading a team of over 270 employees and 95 providers since April 2019. In this role, Cathy directs strategic initiatives for the Primary Care Service Line and collaborates with medical staff on growth objectives. Previously, Cathy held positions at Bon Secours Health System as Director of Medical Practice Services, where effective team management and continuous improvement strategies were implemented. Additionally, Cathy has a background as an entrepreneur and professional photographer, managing photography ventures from 1999 to 2017, and has experience in practice management at Concord Hospital, focusing on efficiency and collaboration in healthcare settings. Cathy holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
