David Payseur, Jr.

David Payseur, Jr. is the current Chairman at Caromont Health. Prior to this, they were with Gaston College from December 2006 to December 2020 where they served as Adjunct Instructor of Tax and Audit. David was also with Charlotte Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors from June 2005 to June 2014 where they served as Board of Governors before retiring. Payseur also has experience with Arrowpoint Capital where they were SVP & Chief Audit Executive from December 1998 to May 2019 before retiring from the company. David's earlier work experience includes a Finance Manager/Accounting Manager role at IBM from May 1982 to December 1998.

David Payseur, Jr.'s educational career includes a BA in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College, an accounting degree from Gaston College, certification as a North Carolina Family Financial Settlement (FFS) Mediator from the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission, designation as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Audit, a Certificate in Forensic Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors and the North Carolina Board of CPA Examiners, respectively.
