Elizabeth Kiser

Elizabeth Kiser's work experience starts in 2004 at CaroMont Health, where they have held various roles including Director of Operations for the Medical Specialty Service Line, Interim Senior Practice Administrator, Practice Administrator, Practice Manager, Site Coordinator at CaroMont Heart, and Quality Improvement & Education Analyst. Prior to CaroMont Health, they were an Office Manager at Dallas Internal Medicine and a CMA III at Dr. Weerakoon's Office/Dallas Internal Medicine. In addition to their roles at CaroMont Health, they have also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Gaston College from 2018 to 2019 and as an Instructor from 2009 to 2013.

Elizabeth Kiser has a diverse education history. Elizabeth started their education journey in 2002 at Gaston College, where they obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting. In 2008, they pursued a Career Diploma in Medical Coding and Billing from Penn Foster. Recently, in 2021, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Health Communication & Social Sciences. Elizabeth is expected to complete this degree in 2022. Additionally, Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree specializing in Public and Health Administration, which they are currently pursuing at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

In terms of certifications, Elizabeth has obtained several. In 2004, they became a Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants. In 2014, they acquired Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. In 2016, they became a Notary Public through the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State. In 2020, they completed certifications in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera and The Challenges of Global Health from Duke University | Coursera.
