Lacy Galloway

Lacy (Hastings) Galloway has a diverse work experience history. Lacy (Hastings) started their career as an intern at the National Council of Textile Organization in 2009, where they conducted analyses on trade policy implications for the manufacturing industry and worked on reports and handbooks. Lacy (Hastings) then had a strategic planning internship at Palmetto Health in 2010, where they conducted environmental analysis and assisted with branding initiatives.

In 2011, Lacy worked as a graduate intern at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, where they reported to the CEO, performed project work, and received Six Sigma training. Lacy (Hastings) co-facilitated an inpatient fall prevention process improvement team and helped implement improvements such as hourly rounding and patient education.

Since 2012, Lacy has been associated with CaroMont Health, where they held multiple roles. Lacy (Hastings) started as an administrative resident and later served as a Lean Sensei, where they facilitated improvement events and focused on streamlining operations and processes. Lacy (Hastings) then became a manager of performance improvement and operational efficiency, leading CaroMont's performance improvement initiatives through Lean/Six Sigma methods and change management. Lacy was then promoted to the role of director and senior director of organizational development and, most recently, senior director of strategy and business development at CaroMont Health.

Lacy (Hastings) Galloway, MSHA completed their Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Risk Management/Insurance & Marketing from the University of South Carolina in 2010. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Science in Health Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they successfully completed in 2013.
