Lisa Mejia has extensive experience in health information management, primarily as an inpatient coder. Lisa's career began at Trinity Lutheran Hospital from 1989 to 1995 as a Clerk/Coder, followed by a role as an Inpatient Coder at North Kansas City Hospital from 1995 to 1999. Subsequently, Lisa served as a Coding Consultant at UASI - United Audit Systems, Inc. from November 1999 to April 2002, and as a Support Analyst at Cerner Corporation from 2002 to 2005. Currently, Lisa holds the position of Inpatient Coder at Carondelet Health. Lisa Mejia earned an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Penn Valley Community College between 1989 and 1992.
