Jenny Sheffer Stevens

Jenny Sheffer Stevens is an experienced writer, actor, yoga instructor, and teaching artist with a diverse background in creative fields. Since 2003, freelance work has encompassed various roles, including writing and acting. Currently, Stevens serves as a Writer/Editor and Creative Consultant for Carousel of Languages, New York City's leading early childhood foreign language program, since 2018. Previous acting credits include performances with Hudson Stage Company, Vermont Shakespeare Festival, and Baltimore Center Stage. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from The University of Alabama and Alabama Shakespeare Festival, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Wheaton College, and teaching certifications in yoga from Sonic Yoga and Kripalu Yoga under Janice Clarfield.
