Gaurav Bhasin has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Gaurav currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Laku6.com. Previously, they held leadership positions at Carousell, where they were the Group Chief Strategy Officer and CEO for Malaysia, as well as CEO of Mudah.my Malaysia and Head of Product at 701 Search Singapore. Gaurav played a significant role in transforming Mudah.my into a successful peer-to-peer marketplace and contributed to the growth and development of several online marketplace businesses across Southeast Asia. Gaurav also worked as a Startup Mentor at Endeavor and founded their own company, iLab03:09. Earlier in their career, they held executive positions at IPG Mediabrands and Mindshare, where they gained extensive experience in the media and advertising industry. Prior to that, they worked at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide in India, where they acquired a strong foundation in marketing communications.

Gaurav Bhasin has a diverse education history. In 1993, they obtained an MBA from Guru Nanak Dev University with a focus on business, management, marketing, and related support services. In 1995, they earned a certificate in Media Planning from MICA | The School of Ideas with a specialization in advertising. In 2006, Gaurav attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for an Advanced Analytics for Marketing Decisions course. In 2007, they completed a Marketing Metrics certificate program at The Wharton School. In 2012, they participated in the Design Thinking Bootcamp at Stanford University. Additionally, Gaurav has completed multiple executive education programs, including Leading Change and Organisation Renewal at Harvard Business School in 2015 and Tackling the Challenges of Big Data at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2016. Gaurav also obtained a MIT Fintech Certificate Course in Future Commerce in the same year. In 2019, Gaurav completed the Berkeley Executive Coaching Certificate Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Gaurav also has additional certifications, such as No Code AI and Machine Learning from MIT Professional Education (expected completion in 2023) and the MIT Fintech: Future Commerce online course from MIT in 2016.
