Siu Rui Quek

Siu Rui Quek is the co-founder and CEO of Carousell, a mobile classifieds marketplace. Siu was previously with VSee as Collaboration Evangelist, developing customer development and pricing strategy with the CEO, and managing press relations, writing press releases, and facilitating press outreach. Siu also conceptualized and implemented tactical marketing at trade shows, email marketing and social media marketing campaigns.

Prior to VSee, they were with OgilvyOne Worldwide (Singapore) as a summer intern, assisting in usability review board for SingTel myBusiness portal. Siu also wrote copy and managed content for SingTel Youth Olympic Games through-the-line sponsorship campaign.

Their first job was as Marketing Executive with DBS Vickers Securities (Singapore).

Siu Rui Quek completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore with a focus in management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Siu then went on to earn a Technology Entrepreneurship degree from Stanford University. After that, they participated in the NUS Overseas Colleges program. Lastly, they earned a Diploma in Business Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a focus in marketing.
