Avani Rathod

Avani Rathod has extensive experience in data analysis and project management, currently serving as Chief of Staff in Engineering at Carpe Data since November 2017. Initially, Avani led a data team that grew from 3 to 12 analysts, transitioning to provide support for engineering efforts and leading a development team. Prior roles at Carpe Data include Senior Data Analyst/Project Manager and Data Analyst, where key responsibilities involved team management and collaboration with product teams. Avani's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara, where coursework included analysis of Bollywood’s influence on nationalism and secularism in India. Additional experience includes various internships at UCSB across geography and finance, showcasing a diverse skill set in research, data management, and project execution.
