Bob Gore

Bob Gore is an experienced procurement professional with a focus on sourcing and purchasing across various industries. Currently serving as Sr. Corporate Buyer at Carpenter Technology since September 2014, Bob is responsible for sourcing capital equipment, construction services, machined parts, fabrications, and castings to support manufacturing processes. Previously held roles include Procurement Manager at both Carpenter Technology and The Vanguard Group, as well as Purchasing Manager at Agere Systems, where Bob achieved significant cost savings. Bob's early career includes positions as Purchasing Agent at Meridian Bank and Sr. Purchasing Specialist at Bechtel Power Corp. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Delaware.
