Technology Operations Manager at Tide

Sotir Sotirov has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Technical Manager at Netbox5 Ltd., where they managed and led an IT service desk. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at ISG Technology as a Technical Manager, overseeing three different service desk departments. Sotir then transitioned to the role of Service Delivery Manager, where they focused on maintaining high-performing service support functions. In 2015, they became a Client Solutions Manager at ISG Technology, responsible for understanding customer needs and establishing solutions.

In 2019, Sotirov joined Allvotec as an Interim Country Manager and in 2020, they took on the role of Operations Director, coordinating the internal structure of the Bulgarian branch. Sotir also served as the Director of Commercial Operations, where they implemented commercial strategies to support growth.

In 2021, Sotirov joined ISG Tech as a Country Director, responsible for managing the overall operations of the country and ensuring alignment with the company's strategy. Most recently, in 2023, they began working at Tide as a Technology Operations Manager.

Sotir Sotirov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia branch Plovdiv, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Sotir has acquired several certifications throughout their career. These include a Harvard Certificate for Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles obtained in August 2021 from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX. Other certifications include ISO 27001 Auditor of Information Security Management System obtained in October 2019, ISO 9001 Auditor of Quality Management Systems obtained in September 2019, ISO 20000-1 Auditor of Service Management Systems obtained in August 2019, ISO 22301 Auditor of Business Continuity Management System obtained in May 2019, and ITIL V3 Foundation obtained in April 2017.
