Eric Thomson

Eric Thomson has a solid work history spanning over three decades. Eric began their career as a College Intern at US Steel in 1990, where they performed analysis and wrote COBOL programs. Eric then moved on to The Timken Company in 1991, where they held the position of Principal Application Analyst, specializing in SAP R/3. After 15 years at The Timken Company, Eric joined Latrobe Specialty Steel in 2006, serving as a Manager of IT Operations and later as a Principal Application Analyst. In 2014, Eric joined Carpenter Technology Corporation, where they have held various roles including Support Manager, Analyst IV and V, and currently as the IT Automation Lead. Eric's experience encompasses IT operations management, SAP analysis, and automation.

Eric Thomson earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems/Mathematics from Grove City College in 1991. Eric then pursued a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, completing it in 1998. Prior to their college education, Eric attended Norwin High School for their college prep studies from 1985 to 1987. Furthermore, Eric Thomson has obtained certifications as a UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) from UiPath in 2023 and as a UiPath Certified Professional Associate RPA Developer (UiRPA) in 2022.
