Robert Kraber has extensive work experience in various industries. Robert started their career at BP as a District Manager, where they were responsible for 15 service stations and 150 employees. Robert then moved on to Gateway Megatech as an Account Manager, handling inside sales.
Kraber joined Kraber Industries, where they held multiple roles including Outside Sales, Sales Manager, and Operations Manager. During their time there, the company's sales revenue doubled, attracting a buyout at a historic valuation level. Following the acquisition by USF Surface Preparation, Kraber managed the transition of the business to a division of a Fortune 500 company.
Robert then worked at USF Surface Preparation as an Outside Sales Product Specialist and later as the West Coast Regional Sales Manager. Robert designed a sales and gross margin budget and forecasting system that is still in use today.
Kraber joined International Surface Preparation as the Vice President & General Manager, Chief Operating Officer. Robert led a team and implemented a turn-around and restructuring effort that significantly improved earnings and reduced employee turnover. Additionally, they managed the development of a highly successful company website generating a significant number of leads.
After Surface Preparation Solutions, LLC divested from International Surface Preparation, Kraber became a Partner in the company. Robert directed various aspects of the business, including inside sales, marketing, export sales, warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory management, and credit and collections. Robert successfully increased earnings and improved warehouse facilities while reducing expenses.
Currently, Kraber is employed at Carpenter Technology Corporation as the Regional Sales Director for Western US and Latin America. Robert manages the sales organization, specializing in critical customer applications in various industries. Carpenter Technology Corporation is a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty alloys and metals.
Robert Kraber received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Miami University in 1989. In 1992, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
