Ben Gist

Ben Gist has a diverse work experience in architecture and design. Ben started their career at AIA Seattle, where they served as a board member from 2003 to 2004. Ben then joined Johnson Architecture & Planning as a Project Architect from 2004 to 2010. In 2009, they founded their own firm, Gist Architecture, which they ran for a year. Ben then worked as a Senior Associate at Runberg Architecture Group from 2010 to 2015. After that, they joined Mithun as an Architect from 2015 to 2018 and later became an Associate Principal from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at MG2 Design as a Principal. Currently, they hold the position of Principal and Managing Director at Carrier Johnson + CULTURE's Seattle office.

Ben Gist attended Montana State University-Bozeman from 1992 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Architecture. Ben obtained a Master of Architecture (M Arch) degree during their time at the university. Prior to attending Montana State University-Bozeman, Ben is known to have completed their high school education at Polson High School.
