Gordon R. Carrier began their work experience as an Architect at LKA Partners from April 1981 to August 1984. Gordon R. then joined Carrier Johnson+CULTURE in March 1984, where they held various roles including Chairman, Chairman & Design Principal, and Design Principal. In August 1986, they became an Owner of the company. Additionally, Carrier served as a Board Member and Past President of the California Architects Board from 1991 to 1999. Gordon R. also founded and served as a Board Member of SBBC, a San Diego-based community bank, from 2002 to 2009. Carrier was an Owner of 3rd Works LLC from February 2001 to December 2008. Gordon R. became a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) in 1987, serving until June 2004. Prior to their architectural career, Carrier had work experience at SDSU as a Peon from 1955 to 2015.
