Amit Vaidya

Amit Vaidya has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Amit started their career at American Rugged Enclosures in 2006 as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed a liquid cooled airborne transport rack and achieved a significant weight reduction in the design.

In 2007, Amit joined Carrier Corporation as an Engineer, where they designed CO2 trans-critical reciprocating compressors and developed FEA models to optimize weight and analyze gasket performance.

By 2011, they were promoted to Senior Engineer at Carrier Corporation, where they focused on modeling motor performance, developing compressor performance software, and conducting vibration and modal analysis on compressor components.

In 2014, Amit became a Staff Engineer at Carrier Corporation, leading a team in the development and delivery of a variable speed air cooled compressor product line. Amit also became a subject matter expert in screw rotor profile design.

Most recently, Amit has been serving as a Principal Engineer at Carrier Corporation since 2019. In this role, they are responsible for leading engineering initiatives, including the extension of low and medium temperature screw compressor product lines and the implementation of FEA for the compression group.
