Jim Downing

Jim Downing currently serves as Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Carrix, Inc. since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Chief Information Officer at NW Natural from September 2017 to March 2024, where Jim implemented a comprehensive five-year IT&S strategy and a Cyber Security strategy aligned with NIST and TSA directives. Jim's experience includes significant leadership roles at WorleyParsons, British Petroleum, and Schlumberger, where accomplishments ranged from establishing IT service delivery organizations to driving transformation within financial services. Educational qualifications include an Executive Masters of Business Administration from Tulane University and a BSIS from the University of Phoenix.
