Yinglan Tan

Tan Yinglan is the Founding Managing Partner at Insignia Ventures Partners, a venture fund established in 2017 that focuses on early-stage technology investments in Southeast Asia. Before founding Insignia, Tan was Sequoia Capital's first hire in Southeast Asia and served as a Singapore Government Administrative Officer. Tan is recognized for contributions to the venture capital sector, including being named one of the Top 50 Global Chinese Venture Capitalists and a Forbes China 100 Most Influential Chinese. With a robust educational background, including studies at Stanford and Carnegie Mellon, Tan has published five books on venture capital and entrepreneurship, while also holding various board and advisory positions in multiple organizations.
