Adunct Philosophy Instructor at Carroll College

Marisa Diaz-Waian is the Founder and Executive Director of Merlin CCC and has held this position since 2014. In addition to leading Merlin CCC, Marisa serves as an Adjunct Philosophy Instructor at Carroll College and engages as a Public Speaker for Humanities Montana. Marisa has been involved with the Merlin Nature Preserve as a Trustee/Caretaker and contributes to Professional PUNCH as an Operations/Marketing Coordinator and Writer on a freelance basis. Additional roles include serving as Executive Assistant for the National Philosophical Counseling Association and the Institute of Critical Thinking, while also volunteering as a "Corner Girl" for Rock Steady Boxing Helena. Marisa's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Philosophy from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from California State University San Marcos, alongside an Associate's degree from Saddleback College.
