Kathrine (Kati) Townsley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Development & Community Engagement Manager at Carroll County Public Library since December 2021, Kathrine is responsible for enhancing library patron engagement and promoting future investments in the library. As a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Lost Mountain Group, an independent nonprofit aiding veterans by pairing them with retired military working dogs, Kathrine exemplifies dedication to community service. Previously, Kathrine held various roles at the Carroll Technology & Innovation Council, contributing to the advancement of technology and business innovation in Carroll County. Additional experience includes administrative and paralegal roles in law firms, showcasing a robust background in legal support and organizational management. Academically, Kathrine holds a BS in History and Education from Frostburg State University, certifications in Fire Science/Emergency Services from the University of Maryland, and has pursued a Masters Program in Counseling and Education at McDaniel College.
