Christibelle Villena

Christibelle Villena has a diverse and extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector. Christibelle currently holds the position of Director of Program Operations at Carrot™ since March 2022, where they oversee program operations. Prior to this role, they worked as a Program Officer at Carrot™ from January 2018 to March 2022.

Before joining Carrot™, Villena served as the Director of Development & Communication at the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation from August 2016 to December 2017. Their responsibilities included managing development and communication strategies.

From April 2016 to August 2016, Villena worked as an Executive Director at CCS Fundraising, providing fundraising campaign and program counsel to various clients. Some of the clients they worked with include the Herbalife Family Foundation and New Horizon School - Irvine.

Prior to that, Villena held the position of Foundation Program Director, Philanthropy at The Wonderful Company from June 2011 to December 2015. In this role, they managed the giving portfolio and foundation operations, focusing on areas such as arts, education, environment, health, and rural communities.

Villena also has experience working at Break the Cycle, a national teen dating violence nonprofit organization, as the Director of Development from July 2005 to June 2011. Villena's work experience also includes an internship at Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc. (LEAP) as a Leadership in Action Intern from June 2001 to August 2001. During this internship, they worked on projects related to API leadership and collaborated with FilAm ARTS for the Festival of Philippine Arts & Culture.
