Cordel Robbin-Coker

Cordel Robbin-Coker is the co-founder and CEO of Carry1st. Cordel has extensive experience in the private equity and investment banking industries.

Robbin-Coker began their career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in the Natural Resources Group, advising and executing M&A and capital markets transactions for mining and industrial firms in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Cordel then joined The Carlyle Group as vice president of the Sub-Saharan Africa Fund, helping to form and deploy the first dedicated Africa private equity fund.

In November 2016, Robbin-Coker became a board member of Amrod, a leading b2b ecommerce firm. Cordel helped transform the company's tech and expand its operations across Africa. Cordel left Amrod in May 2018 to co-found Carry1st.

Cordel Robbin-Coker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University.
